Week 2, Day 1 and it’s a ‘no-running’ day today so an opportunity to do my favourite activity (not) – core strength exercises. Getting up early to do them didn’t quite work out this morning as amazingly I had a second night of 8 hours-plus sleep.
It’s 10.35 and I think I’ll have a go now. I’ll get back to you at 11.00 with an update. “Imagine the shame, Peter, if you don’t have good news to report?”
11.15: Success! All complete. And just as horrible as I remember them when all done together. Not helped by this one, who wants to add ‘ball throwing’ to the workout every time I get down on the floor.

My cat likes to help with my core exercises: his favourite way is to stand behind my back when I’ve come up in a sit-up so I can’t get back down again, or just staring. Good work, though!

I only have to get out of the chair and Bonnie’s up and ready for playtime. I think vacuuming and my exercises are now her favourite ‘get up and go’ moments.

Got one, David. I try to use if 2 or 3 times a week to supplement the core strength exercises. It seems a lot harder to use now than it did many moons ago!
