Manflu report: not bad at all today though feeling very tight chested in the evening.
Leg report: I have a slight pain on the side of the thigh just above the knee but not that bad.
I’ll run Tuesday evening and see how it goes. Nice and steady of course. I’m tempted to do the double just to get some extra miles in but I’ll decide on that tomorrow. That 16 miles looks a bit more intimidating than it did last week!
I remembered earlier I haven’t yet booked the Notts20 so that’s on the to-do list for this week. I’m also still dithering over ordering the train tickets for Brighton, which suggests I’ve secretly decided to go by car.
Glad you’re doing better. Watch that chest, though, and keep wrapped up and warm and dry. I managed mine not to go to a chest infection but I was glad I wasn’t this far through training. You WILL nail this 16. And you have a great training group to see you through. You might need to adjust your pacing to just get the miles in, and that’s also OK. I’ve got a 15 myself on Sunday and an errand to run, so have plotted an exciting route along the canals – which means I’ll get lost on a bridge and end up running to Stratford or something …
